I am Janka, a functional movement teacher, for whom yoga is more than a series of movements: it is a journey home, a journey to ourselves.In my classes I focus on being present, listening to the subtle signals of the body and the power of the breath.I believe that each practitioner develops at their own pace, and I want to support you in discovering this path with safety, love and curiosity.
for me, yoga is a space of slowing down: a moment to let go of the noise of everyday life and connect with who we really are. i teach my classes so that everyone can find their own peace - whether they are a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner.
as an instructor, authenticity, presence and attention are important to me. i want those who enter the room to feel safe, to have room to grow and to leave a little lighter each time.

in the space of my classes, movement, breathing and attention are gently intertwined. i create a practice where there is no pressure to perform: everyone can move to the rhythm of their own body, safely and supported.
I like to arrange the asanas in sequences that flow naturally, yet still allow enough space to deepen and listen to the subtle signals of the body.
I work with a lot of verbal adjustments during the class, so that everyone can find their own stable, comfortable form.The focus is always on presence: to let go of the burdens of the day for a few minutes and find our way back to the inner space of calm and ease.
